Welcome to My Language Hub

My Language Hub has supported us with live simultaneous interpretation and translation throughout our project Inclusive Digital Innovation. The project required highly specific interpretation to facilitate academic discussion between UK-based research groups and groups based in the Republic of Korea. Everyone at My Language Hub has been professional, kind, supportive, and they have gone above and beyond to accommodate our often-difficult requests! My Language Hub Ltd. assisted Sherlock Taxi Solution in their market research for new customers from emerging markets.  Through their endeavours, Carina and Hugh were able to provide up-to-date market intelligence for Argentina and the Southern Cone of South America. With a minimum of briefing or fuss, they demonstrated high levels of initiative and proactivity by taking it upon themselves to make key aspects of the Sherlock literature accessible to Spanish speakers and arranged discussions with Argentinian firms as well as British Embassy officials. Their work has led to opportunities opening up that would otherwise have not been recognised and clearly exemplified that they are not simply a Language Agency but a real live asset to their client companies.  They are unquestionably determined to work alongside their clients to understand the business model and actively assist in its development.

We contracted My Language Hub for a training course we had to provide in Spanish. We required manuals, presentations and on-the-day interpreter services in a relatively short period of time and to be provided on-site in Spain. Then Covid-19 hit, and the borders were closed just 10-days prior to our delivery date. When eventually the client returned, they wanted a tele-conference training instead. Throughout all these trials and tribulations, Carina was supportive, rapid to respond to the changing situation and maintained a cheerful outlook throughout. The content was highly technical, and she was quick to spot the use of colloquialisms we have become used to that might not easily translate. She even went beyond what we'd asked and produced a very useful technical glossary for the training. It's quite difficult to truly appreciate what a great service Carina and My Language Hub provided until you get hit by something like the Covid-19 crisis in the middle of such a programme, the way they responded to these changes and the extra support and suggestions we received from her really made this experience easier than it might have been and illustrated what great service they do provide.
